rapid therapy option

Rapid Therapy Option

I am pleased to offer you the opportunity to experience a truly profound change in one therapy session.

Really? How?

I practice a unique form of therapy developed by Jon Connelly, PhD which is currently available through only a few dozen certified practitioners in the U.S.  It is called Rapid Resolution Therapytm, or RRT, for short.  I also provide a specialization within RRT called Clinical Hypnosis with Rapid Trauma Resolutiontm.  (www.rapidresolutiontherapy.com.)

This therapy produces immediate, powerful transformation.  Sessions are life affirming and enjoyable.  Thorough explanations are given of the source of the symptoms, how the therapy addresses them and the techniques involved.  Often clients, even those who've had extensive therapy, remark that they finally understand their symptom(s) for the first time.  These symptoms are then eliminated and the mind is cleared and optimized.

What's so special about it?

Rapid Resolution Therapytm and Clinical Hypnosis with Rapid Trauma Resolutiontm use all levels of the mind to produce dramatic life-changing results in real time.  The results don't require homework, time to develop, practicing techniques or gaining insight.  You will leave the session having resolved the issue and knowing you are very different than when you walked in.

What kinds of problems does it fix?

  • Panic Attacks
  • Anxiety
  • Trauma
  • Depression
  • Frozen Grief
  • Eating Disorders
  • Anger and Resentment
  • Guilt and Shame
  • Most anything that traditional therapy would address.   If you're wondering if your issue will respond to RRT, I will be happy to talk with you about it.  Just e-mail me at www.michelegustafson.com and let me know when is a good time to call you.  You can also visit the RRT website at www.rapidresolutiontherapy.com for more information.

What do people experience?

  •  It is common for clients to report they've been helped more in a single session than in years of previous therapy.

  • Clients are surprised, delighted and even shocked by the fast results.

  • Check out my 'testimonials' page.  These quotes are from clients receiving RRT.

How do I know this is for me?

  • You want or need fast results with no ongoing scheduled sessions.
  • You are interested in private pay services where there is no need to meet insurance company requirements for a lengthy psychosocial assessment and assigned diagnosis.
  • You want to try something innovative and transformational.
  • You don't have insurance and want the least expensive option available.

What do I need to know if I'm interested?

  • There is a fee of $250.00 payable at the time of the appointment.

  • Payment is refused unless you are completely satisfied.

  • The fee covers a session of up to 4 hours (typically 2 to 3 hours) to achieve the intended outcome.
  • To get started, e-mail me at info@michelegustafson.com and leave your phone number and a good time for me to call you.  We will briefly discuss your problem and set a date and time for the appointment.

Where are the sessions held?

I do this therapy at the offices of McDonald and Kimball, PLC in Fenton, Michigan. (map and directions)  This is a comfortable, private therapy office.  The reason for using this location is that my practice at Hillside operates under a medical model.  Sessions there are limited to 45 minutes and a diagnosis and assessment are required.  It usually takes 3 to 6 sessions to complete the work we can do in one long session.  If you don't have insurance, the per session rate at Hillside (currently $140.00) is more expensive than this option.

What else do I need to know?

  •  I offer this service free of charge to military veterans suffering from PTSD and related conditions.  I participate in a program called 'Give an Hour' which promotes licensed mental health professionals donating services to veterans.  You can read more about Rapid Trauma Resolutiontm as a treatment for military personnel with PTSD here
  • I am one of only 2 Certified Practitioners of Rapid Resolution Therapytm and Clinical Hypnosis with Rapid Trauma Resolutiontm in the State of Michigan.

  • I have spent hundreds of hours learning these techniques and have used them regularly in my practice since becoming certified in March of 2009.
